Sensitivity

"You're too sensitive"
"You can't save the whole world"
"They just think differently to you"

How often have we heard these things, those of us who are sensitive?

Being sensitive is not a bad thing, providing we don't let it drag us down too far and upset us too much.  Use your protective white light, golden bubble or whatever protection you use, but remember that compassion for other people and other creatures is a GOOD thing.

People who are inured to cruelty are not wise.  They have let the world de-sensitize them and that's not good.

Getting upset when we see something cruel is our soul's way of telling us that this thing is wrong.  It should lead us to action of some kind - helping the person or animal or situation whenever we can.  We should not walk by on the other side of the road, but we must also know our limitations.

If you physically can't help, get someone who can, and if there is no-one then immediately give the situation to God.  Talk to the mountain, whatever the mountain is, and give the situation to God.  Angels are always available to assist us.

Being kind, being sensitive, being compassionate - these are good things.  But we must not expect other people to feel as we do.  You are an individual and if you are sensitive, it is a blessing.

If you are sensitive to other peoples unkind words, often offered in jest, then avoid these people when you can and when you remember to protect yourself each morning these barbs will not hurt so much and eventually will just flow away from you.  Mentally pray for any unkind people around you.  And remember, you do not have to sit quietly and allow people to verbally bully you - you do have options - pray for guidance on what actions you should take.

Hold your head up: you are a child of God.  He will help you to deal with any situations that may arise.

You are NOT alone.

Spiritual Growth

Allow yourself to grow - spiritually, mentally and emotionally.  Be prepared for shifts in focus.  Be aware of others changing attitudes towards you - good and bad.  Don't take on other people's problems - that's theirs to deal with themselves.  Just be aware of how your developing spirituality affects other people.  Let other people grow and find their own way; they are on their own path - you can't fix everyone's problems.  Your path should head upwards towards brighter things and you will then find increasing harmony in every area of your life.

With spiritual maturity comes discernment - exercise it.  Some people will want to sap your spiritual light from you; do not allow this.  Lovingly point them in the right direction to find their own light and then move on.  Being spiritually developed does not mean you're there to be used.  Protect yourself, help others, but don't take their problems into yourself.  Release other people's vibrations from you after meeting with them; drink water, spiritually cleanse yourself and the place where you met and then move on.

You need to develop wisdom in all areas; ask your angels of light to help you whenever you need it.  Be happy.  Be peaceful.  Know that you are loved.

Basics

Love yourself first.  Don't see others through rose-coloured spectacles, but as they are - their true selves, often fighting against each other, often causing conflict.  They don't know who they are.  Most don't know about the light and consciously only wallow in the energies created by unillumined souls.  Pray for them to see their light so that they can push their heads above the fog and maelstrom of earthly emotions; push up to the light that illuminates everything and shows us the truth of what's real.

There are smoke screens here on earth and light above.  Shine your light to help others find their way.  Be a flashlight and shine your light wisely.  Some will not like the light being shone on them - the light reveals darkness and error - bless them and move on.  Some will be attracted to the light - help them to find their own light.

As you go on your spiritual journey you will find that new friends will appear, people who also have the light and you will learn from each other.  Don't worry about the people who don't want the light - they choose their own path just as you have chosen yours.  We all have free will, absolutely, and we make our own choices.  Be patient, be loving and kind and respect yourself.  Do not sacrifice yourself for another - there is no need.  Other people must work out their problems for themselves, just point them in the direction of the light and allow them to empower themselves.

God be with you.

Don't Deplete your Energy

If you are continually giving yourself to other people, family, pets, work, etc. then your energy may be depleted.  It is your responsibility to fill yourself up again, spiritually.  You need to get enough rest, enough sleep and some quality time for yourself.  You are not a machine.  When you are tired you may be vulnerable to attack from a number of sources.  Remember to cover yourself with light and that will turn off the darkness.  It's like turning on a light switch, or shutting the door against the cold.  Use common sense - don't let darkness creep up on you; be vigilent.

You are worth looking after - remember that and don't put yourself last.  Allow yourself treats and pamper yourself sometimes.  Cultivate self-respect and love.  Dark energies may still try to worm their way into your mind, but cover yourself with protective white light and don't allow yourself to be depleted and they won't succeed.  Focus on the light.  Be well.  Be happy.

Faith

Faith in yourself (self confidence); faith in someone you trust; faith in God/Source; faith in your angels.  When you have faith in someone or something you trust them to do what they say they will.  You have faith that when you turn the kettle on, it will boil the water - why?  Because your experience has taught you that it boils the water when you turn it on.

As you develop a relationship with God/Source you will learn to trust Him and have faith in Him.  You will find that when He promises to do something He always does it.  Our part is to spend time with Him on a daily basis, so that we get to know Him and learn from Him.  Then you will become finely tuned to His frequency and will receive information on all sorts of things.

One dark, snowy, morning I was driving to work and sipping my coffee approaching a bend in the road.  I heard "Both hands on the wheel!" and I immediately put the coffee in its holder, slowed and was more alert with both hands on the wheel.  Right on the bend were two moose standing in the middle of the road!  I waited for them to move across and then drove on.  You never know when you'll need help, but if you're tuned into the Divine frequency it can be life saving.

Have faith in God/Source, angels of light and divine illuminations, but also have faith in yourself.  You are able to build a good relationship with Source and you will come to know all you can be and all that you are.

You are loved.  Be happy!

Silence

How much silence is there in your life?  We are bombarded by noise: TV, radio, computer, vehicles, people talking, talking.  If you don't have silence in your life on a regular basis then how can you hear from your higher self or Source?  Constant distractions pull at us: family, work, tasks to do.  Sometimes to get silence and some peace, we have to get in the car and drive into the country or take a walk around a lake.

I always feel closer to Source when I'm outside in nature.  I can feel His presence there with me.  At these times you can open yourself up to Source while you walk and you'll have communication without a standard meditation.  You may be impressed with solutions that you've been trying to find and there they are!  In the quiet, without the talk, ideas will come to you on a number of subjects.  It can be hard for your higher self to be heard above the noise of everyday life, but in the quiet, silent times, your higher self can get through much more easily.

We have all knowledge and wisdom available to us if we only listen and open ourselves up to receive it.  On closing, thank Source and cover yourself with light again and go about your walk, enjoy the scenery, the animals, the trees and all of nature.  You will feel that you are truly a part of it all.  We are partners on this earth and should work together as such.

Make your mind quiet - meditation and life

Our minds are constantly running, like wind-up toys.  We need to make our minds quiet when we're going into meditation.  You need to raise your consciousness to a higher level so that meditation fulfills its purpose.  Some people burn incense and play uplifting music before they begin meditations and this can certainly help.  When your mind is quiet, lift yourself up to the higher realms and seek upwards with your mind.  Source dwells in higher realms and divine wisdom is available for those able to receive it.

We tend to complicate things, but if we aim for simplicity in our lives things will become much clearer.  Don't over complicate your life: less is more.  We should not fill every waking hour with tasks, we need quiet time each day.  Aim for a simpler life and you'll find that you're happier.  Choose.  The choice is yours: simple or cluttered: harmonious or restless: peace or frantic activity.

Even in the midst of a crisis we can act with calm assurance when we are centered, know who we are, and trust Source.  He will know what actions are needed in times of crisis and take the necessary steps to deal with it.  Quietly overcoming: no big scenes.  Fulfillment, peace, and joy await us.  Head towards peace, step by step, knowing that divine spirit is with you each step of the way.  Then you'll create a calm oasis wherever you are.  Let others run around in circles while you keep heading in the direction you want to go.

Depression

Photo by Angie Q. England 2009

When dark times come, take your problems to the divine healing light of Source.  He knows how you are suffering and He understands what you've been through.  Know this: It is not His will that you suffer.  Ask for His help to overcome obstacles.  Depression can descend like a dark blanket, blocking out the light.  It's because the earth's atmosphere has become so dense that it's hard for the light to get through.  When you're sensitive to spirit you'll find you're sensitive to darkness and this will affect you.  This must be the signal to seek the light.  Don't let yourself sink into the dark pit of depression - ask your angels of light to throw you a rope and they will pull you out of that pit.  Better still, ensure each morning you do your protection exercise and that will stop the darkness from getting to you.

Certain seasons of the year are darker than others, both because the days are shorter and because dark energies inhabit the atmosphere and are more prevalent at that time.  Do not allow fear anywhere near you, your home or your loved ones.  Remember the protection exercise will deter darkness.  Be vigilent and keep your home covered with light.  Source is good.  Ask for angels of light to protect you, your pets, family, vehicles and gardens at all times.  Angels are mighty warriors and are able to do tasks that we set them.  How wonderful!

Bullies cannot exist when light is shone on them and people stand up to them and it's the same with dark energies.  When the darkness tries to envelop you, stand up to it and flood it with light and it will leave.  I sometimes use my sword of light to slice through the darkness too.  Remember: Don't give the darkness credence by paying attention to it.  Focus on the light.

Listening

Listening is a lost art.  How many people really hear what is said?  Cultivate the art of listening, not just to the words, but to the thoughts behind the words, and as you develop this skill you will find many people will seek you out to talk to you.  Some of them, most of them probably, will use you as a sounding board, not interested in hearing your response but just talking at you.  Let them talk, it will help them to heal.  A few rare people will want you to participate in a conversation and will be interested in what you have to say.  These are people to be treasured and you can learn from each other. Two-way communication is very precious.

The people who talk, and talk, and never listen are not people to cultivate as friends because they will drain your energy.  Give them limited amounts of your time to listen to them.  What are they really saying?

Notice me!
I'm important!
I know everything!
I have a lot of important things to say, so you shut up and listen!

These people are either very young souls who don't know any better, and/or may be insecure people who have to talk, often loudly, to reassure themselves that they are important.  Listen, ascertain the problem, and lift them up to the light and ask for divine healing for them.  You will have increasing insights into peoples' behaviour and will learn a lot and they will receive healing.

A truly wise person does not waste time with a lot of talk, but chooses his words wisely and when he speaks, pearls of wisdom are the result.  These are the people to cultive as friends - seek and you will find.

Meditation Tools

The rosary: "Holy Mary, Mother of God, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus."

What spiritual tool do you use for meditation?  You need to find the best one for you.  Some people visualize divine white light coming down and themselves going up in the white light; some people chant a mantra or the rosary.

As you become more spiritually developed you'll find what's best for you and it may change over the years as you enter spiritual halls of learning and obtain knowledge and healing.  Trust your instincts and listen to your inner promptings.  Help is available from higher sources for all aspects of your life, including meditation.  Ask your Guardian Angel to guide you in the best meditations for you.  We are all different and what works for one person may not work for another.

The importance of meditation

Clear your mind of debris once a day and sit in the presence of Source.  For some, the best time will be in the morning and for others, the evening.  Our minds become cluttered with thoughts, worries, tasks and goals.  Meditation helps your mind to be healthy and your whole body benefits from this.  Meditation will help you to focus more clearly on your goals and any time spent with Source is time well spent.  If you can discipline yourself to do this daily then you'll find you are impressed with wonderful ideas and solutions to problems.  You'll find solutions will come far more easily as your mind is tuned to a higher vibration and your higher self is communicating with Source and higher energies.  You'll get little internal nudges to take certain actions and you'll find if you follow them that, step by step, you'll achieve your goal.

There is no problem that is new or difficult to Source.  When you asked for assistance is not the first time Source knew you needed help.  But we have free will and help will only come if we ask for it.  Be specific and don't offer solutions; Source has all the solutions possible.  Angels will be assigned to assist you and don't forget to watch your words!  If you say the opposite to what you want the angels have to obey and work according to your words.  Our words are very important.

Do what you can and leave the rest to Source.  Duty is necessary, but schedule time for yourself to take a walk in nature, or spend time in a beautiful garden.  Nature is very important and you'll feel refreshed after spending time outdoors.  Lift your thoughts up while you're with nature and you'll sense divine energy with you.  Source loves a garden and all of nature.

Surroundings

What are your surroundings?  Do you know that our spirit and emotional states are deeply affected by our surroundings?  Do not force yourself to live or work somewhere that you don't want to be, that can cause internal strife and can cause physical health and mental/emotional problems.

If you love nature, make sure you see nature each day.  Plant your garden with the trees and flowers that you love so that it uplifts you when you see it.  If you don't have your own garden, is there a park nearby where you can walk?  Notice how you feel inside in different places.  Are you happier in a garden, or in a library?  Are you happier walking or driving?  Your instincts will tell you - listen to them and create the perfect home and work environment for yourself.  Everyone is different.  Do you love animals?  If so, do you have a pet?  Pets need attention and love but they give a lot of love in return.  When you're living in a place that feeds your soul, you will find that you're happier, healthier and more alert.  You don't have as much control over your work environment, unless you're self employed,  but either way you can make your own workspace uplifting.  Visualize it filled with white light and have things that uplift you in that space such as different coloured crystals, plants, and pictures of loved ones.

If you do not like going to work, ask yourself why.  Are you following your passion?  Follow your heart and ask for divine guidance to lead the way so that you can earn your living doing what you love to do, then follow the inner promptings that will lead you, step by step, to a fulfilling life.  Source knows and sees everything.  We can only see a small piece.  Ask and wait for the response and it will come.

You have the power to change your life.  Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want.  Let go of the fear and trust Source - He has the answers.

Faith and Protection

Faith is believing in something without any rational reason to do so.  This may be true at the start, but with faith in God/Higher Source and your angels of light, you begin to trust them and that trust increases your faith.  If you have faith in Source you will build a relationship with Him.  Each time you give a situation to Higher Source/angels of light and the situation works out well for you, maybe not always the result you wanted but what was really for the best, you build on that foundation of trust.  If you had a friend who always let you down, you wouldn't trust that person and over time they'd probably cease to be your friend.  Higher Source only wants things for your good and can see much further than we can and can see the whole picture.

In times of danger, I know absolutely that I can trust God/Source with my protection.  I put on my spiritual armour and go forward.  We are all unique and have all had different experiences, both in this life and previous incarnations.  We all act differently in situations and that makes us who we are.

Each morning I protect myself, my home, my pets and my vehicle.  Firstly I ask Archangel Michael to use his divine healing magnet to remove any negative energies that may be in, on or around me, my home and my pets.  Then I visualize myself putting on purple light, all around me, then gold light all around me, then I ask Archangel Gabriel to place a ball of reflective white light right around me.  This all takes just a few minutes.

Make your peace with God/Source, whoever you perceive Him/Her to be, and, if you haven't already, start to develop a personal relationship with Source.  Source loves you and is not waiting for you to go to Him so He can punish you!  True repentence receives forgiveness and don't forget to forgive people who have hurt you.  This is the beginning of finding your true power.  True strength loves and is kind.  True power and strength is compassionate and is never cruel or bullying.  Source is Love and is all-powerful - beware of imitations.

Love and Kindness

Love changes everything.  It adds warmth in a cold place, and it puts a smile on a sad situation.  True love, high and pure, is majestic in nature.  It shines benevolence and light over everything.  Love is kind and kindness is very important.  How often have harsh, negative words pierced your soul?  If there had been kindness, those words would not have been spoken.  Maybe you have responded with unkind words of your own - we can change our reactions to people, it just takes intention and faith to do so.

When people's actions do not match their words you know that person is not to be trusted.  'I love you' can be easily spoken.  Is that person there for you when you need them?  God/Source is always there and is always love.  It is not for us to judge another, but we must exercise caution in our business dealings and our private lives and must not allow someone we don't trust to influence us.  We need to develop wisdom and discernment in this world, while all the time loving.  This is something that requires understanding and patience!  Ask for divine help and you will receive it.  Trust your intuition.  There are a lot of fools pretending to be wise.  Exercise discernment in all things.  There are a lot of people who the world thinks are fools, but who are actually very wise.  Don't take things at face value.  Look for the true heart of the person or situation.  Sometimes we have to turn our brains off to do this!

Go deep within yourself and look deeply into the situation/person and you will see the truth of the matter.  Be prepared for some surprises when you do this.  Try not to be disappointed in people.  We are not perfect and should not expect others to be perfect.  What we should expect and strive for, for ourselves, is honesty, truth, integrity and love.  We must go forward with these expectations of ourselves and when we find those qualities in others it is wonderful.

You are loved

The Lord is good.  Yet He loves you - YOU.  You can't be so bad, can you?  Not if the Lord loves you!  Know this - you are a child of God, made in His image and He created you.  How can you think He does not love you?  How can you think you are not loved?

You ARE loved.  God loves you.  What greater good could there be?  You are worthy to receive good things.  Forget past conditionings by unillumined souls - you are worthy.  God loves you.  He has great things in store for you if you will receive them.  Ask Him for them.  Ask for the good things He has stored up for you.  He longs to give them to you.  He longs for you to realize who you are.  You are a child of God.  Lift your head up above the earthly problems created by lower energies.  You can do anything - you just have to tap into higher sources of energy and you have to know who you are and what is available to you.

You need to have a conversation with Higher Source/God and/or Angels of Light/your higher self - have a two way conversation, don't just talk AT Him.  God did not create you to be downtrodden.  He created you to rule and reign and have dominion, lovingly and fairly.  Remember this as you go about your day and remember to hold your head up.  Ask and you shall receive.  I dare you!  Believe as you ask and be careful what you ask for!

Seasons of Life

Seasons are a  blessing to the earth.  Snow falls as a blessing to the earth.  Rain comes as a blessing to the earth.  Sunshine and blue skies are a blessing to the earth.  Autumnal colours, leaves falling from trees bless the trees and bless the earth.  Spring comes at just the right time, bringing blessings to the earth.

Happiness, joy, laughter, tears, sorrow are all seasons in your life.  All are blessings in different ways.  Our lives, the seasons of our lives, match the seasons of the earth.  These cycles of life exist in all areas, that is the natural order of things.  Change is necessary for many reasons.  Our lives change as seasons come and go and we learn from each season.

Never wish for life to be the same every day, you wouldn't like it.  We need change, just as the earth needs change.  The autumns of our lives are different from our springs and rightly so.  We should welcome each new year and never dread growing old.  Think how many things you have learnt in your life, good and  bad.  Don't dread change.  Sometimes we need to move and change our surroundings.  It's always sad to say goodbye and leave familiar people and places.  But, remember them with fondness, they'll always be with you in your heart.  A new home, a new town, a new country: These are things to be enjoyed and savoured as new experiences.  Don't be afraid of change, it's the natural cycle of things.

If you feel it's time to leave a place, a person, a job, a town, ask for confirmation from higher spiritual sources to ensure it's the right thing to do.  As you grow spiritually, you won't have to ask so much as you'll instinctively know if it's the right thing to do.  A new home today, is a cherished and familiar home in a year.

We are all different in many ways and the same in so many other ways.  Life is an adventure if you let it be so.  Is it time for a career change?  Is it time for a new wardrobe?  Any change will affect you on many levels.  Is it time to let go of sorrow and allow yourself to be happy again?  Only you know the answers to these questions.  Life is full of mysteries, many of which we can solve ourselves.  Sometimes we need a little help.

So, when the snow falls,  don't dread it, look upon it as a signal of change.  A timeless, honourable cycle of events, bringing a time of rest and revival to nature and the earth, a time of replenishment before the heavy growth of spring.

Seasons signal change.  Don't waste your life longing for summer, or autumn, or spring.  Enjoy today's season and, if you need to change something in your life, have the courage to do it, accepting all of its consequences.  Don't be a stagnant pond, be a babbling brook, joyously laughing and flowing onto the next boulder in its path, and rushing over the obstacles in the stream.

Your Life's Purpose

You are loved.  God/Source in His infinite wisdom made you.  You are here for a purpose - do you know what that purpose is?

Ask for divine guidance as to what your purpose is in this life.  Your natural likes and desires will point the way and Source will confirm it if you ask.  Before we come into this life we have created a blueprint for ourselves.  Do you feel yourself pulled towards a certain career?  If the feeling is always there, it's probably what you're meant to do.  There may be obstacles in your path, stopping you from pursuing that career.

Ask for help from Source/angels of light to deal with or remove the obstacles.  Life is precious - don't waste it doing any old thing that comes along.  Focus on your goals and you will get there.

Love is important - you are also here to give and receive love.  Do you look at people who know absolutely what they want to do with their lives and wish you knew too?  Ask Source and keep asking until you hear the answer.  You may find people cross your path who say 'don't tell me, you're a nurse, right?' or whatever it is you want to be, when you know in your heart that you do want this.  Once you know what you want to do, ask Source for help to achieve your goal.  Source sees the whole picture and knows a lot of people!  He can help you.  Listen for the response.  If you can't hear it, ask Source/angels of light to show you in a way you can't miss and wait for the response - it will come.

Following your blueprint will give you a sense of purpose, satisfaction and achievement.  Don't just let the wind blow you this way and that.  With purpose you will find happiness in life.

Life can be very good and Source wants your life to be very good.  God/Source is love and He loves you.

Regrets

Regrets for things we did that we shouldn't have done; regrets for things we didn't do that we should have done. Regrets are useful to learn lessons by, so that the next time we are faced with a similar situation we act differently. However, learn the lesson and move on. If you are genuinely sorry for what you did, or didn't, do, give the situation to Source and leave it there. Don't keep punishing yourself for it; just make sure that the next time you act differently.

If we're not careful, we can create a kind of hell in our lives, constantly punishing yourself does no good and can cause all sorts of health problems as well as spiritual ones.

Take your situation to Source and ask Him to forgive you, then refuse to let it back into your mind.

Quieten your mind and think of God/Higher Source. Remember that He loves you and wants you to be happy. Open yourself up to Source and He will flood your mind with love, joy, peace and abundance of all good things and spiritual love will be infused into your being. You and I are one with Source, with the universe and all life.

If you come across a situation where you want to help someone or something, and you're not in a position to do it, give the situation to Source. He'll either put you in a position to help or He'll get someone else to help. Prayer is very powerful. Solutions will come.

Keep looking up to the light - focus on the light.

Meditation Exercise

Visualize and say this: "I attract all good things to me like a magnet."

Visualization can be a powerful tool and you need one that resonates with you personally. One of my visualizations is a cross, as a sword, with a jewelled hilt up at my head and the sword reaching down to the floor in front of me. I use this sword to cut through problems and difficult situations and when I visualize it slicing through problems the solution comes to me. Visualizing a burning cross, or a regular wooden cross, in front of, above, below and to either side of you can provide good protection.

I believe protection should be carried out each morning, for our homes, our loved ones, our pets, our vehicles, our workplaces, and us. You'd be surprised at how many problems just don't happen when you protect yourself - but, of course, you won't know! Negative energies, although deserving of pity, do not deserve your time and energy. Some will be attracted to your light. Avoid interaction with them unless you are highly spiritually evolved. You'll find putting yourself in a protective bubble of divine white light will deter them; some will avoid you and some will be uncomfortable in your presence. Be polite, but do not invite these negative people into your home - most wouldn't be comfortable there anyway as if you are a light seeker your home will be on a higher vibration. Visualize them covered in white light, pray for them to be lifted up and leave Higher Sources to help them.

Focus on goodness and love and light and be aware that some may try to draw you downwards to their level - as you develop spiritually you will be able to discern others intentions. Some are even spiritually aware but are not seekers of the light. Use your best judgement and don't worry about these things - take concerns up to Higher Source and ask for guidance and trust that you will be protected when you've asked Higher Source to protect you.

Love and Light

Love and light - these two go together. How can there be light where there is no love? How can there be love where there is no light? Source is love and light.

Love comes in many forms - the pure light and love that comes from a pet, a mother, the divine; the affectionate love that comes from a true friend; the passionate love of a lover and partner in life. These are precious and fill us with purpose and a reason for living.

Extend that love to your garden and see how the flowers and trees respond -they need love and light like all of us and are a part of the natural order of the world. They are partners with us, with the earth, the water and the air, all working together to bring harmony, like pieces in a clock. All the pieces are important and when one piece is broken it affects the whole clock.

So it is with nature; polluted water affects the earth, the trees, the oxygen in the atmosphere, people and animals and insects. The whole cycle is affected.

So love and light are important weopons in our spiritual arsenal; never under-estimate their power. Ask for divine guidance on when where and how to use these tools. You can be extremely effective using love and light - they are very powerful tools.
